My name is Keith Giles. I love to write so that people can know Jesus and experience His life in their own.
So, I started this blog to help people understand who Jesus is, and how He reveals what the Father is really like.
This is a safe place to talk about all those questions you've had about the Bible, and Christianity. It's also a place to learn how to put the words of Jesus into practice.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2013, the Supreme Court of the United States made two landmark decisions regarding the definition of marriage in California, and potentially the entire nation.
What should Christians do about this? How should we respond?
We should focus on helping married Christians develop healthy and strong marriages so the divorce rate in the church becomes significantly lower than the divorce rate in the world. In other words I think we need to clean our own house first before we worry about somebody else's.
This is good stuff Keith. I think you are right about the discomfort that Christian Americans feel in regards to this issue, and others. This discomfort is rooted in a lack of belief and faith in Jesus and His (and His alone) ability to heal and make all things new. This is further manifested in a lack of living out His Life in prayer and love. I recently wrote about this here, and it was controversial, especially for Christians.
