My name is Keith Giles. I love to write so that people can know Jesus and experience His life in their own.
So, I started this blog to help people understand who Jesus is, and how He reveals what the Father is really like.
This is a safe place to talk about all those questions you've had about the Bible, and Christianity. It's also a place to learn how to put the words of Jesus into practice.
Having just moved to a new city, I have attended several 'churches' to find out they aren't really 'Church.' The point of this post is somewhat humorous but the predicament I find myself in (not finding 'Church' in an area that really does have a church building every 1/2 mile) is utterly sobering and saddening. Is the Bride of Christ really this difficult to find, under the guise of what we Americans have the audacity to call 'church'?
I don't see anyone. Are they hiding in the bushes?

Ding. Ding. We have a winna!
ReplyDeleteI see no Body of Christ in this picture, so I see no "C"hurch.
ReplyDeleteI do however see a "c"hurch building.
I see the "church-noun" but I don't see any "church-verb."
ReplyDeleteI see a thing that by our culture we say "we go to church", but I don't see a church.
ReplyDeleteIt is like many words in christianity: we need to define them in order to communicate what we mean.
