LORD, SAVE US FROM YOUR FOLLOWERS

This is one indie film worth seeking out. "Lord Save Us From Your Followers" is not a slam against Christianity by non-believers, it's an honest look at Christianity in America that we need to take seriously.

First, this film hopes to reclaim the heart of the Gospel and to restore the concepts of relationship and love for people, as Jesus commanded us.

Secondly, the film hopes to inspire dialogue between political or ideological extremes, particularly Christian and non-Christian; Liberal and conservative.

    Hey Kieth,

I viewed the trailer to this and it seemed really awesome. But (you know that was coming) it seems to say "the world should really like you". Which I think goes against most of what Jesus taught remember the theme song at Pilates Palace "curcify him"? Paul go knocked up side his head a few times also by the Gentiles.

    So what do you think?

  2. Lionel - Thanks for at least watching the clip.

My take away from this was that we are poor ambassadors for the Gospel of love and peace to a world that is literally dieing for it.

Maybe if we loved them more they would love us, and Jesus, more? Maybe they wouldn't. But we'll never know if we don't at least try.

I think for me it's more about being obedient to our Lord Jesus in this area. His command to us was to be know for our love. If we're not (and we are not) then we are disobedient.

Whether or not the World "loves us" is beside the point, in my opinion.

    Does that make sense?

Yep! Makes sense a bunch. I do agree with the fact we shouldn't be known for what we stand against but for who we were purchased by. Much love brother.

BTW How do you purchase it?

  4. Lionel,

I think you can purchase it on the link to their main website. Really not sure.

It's not on Netflix (unfortunately). For me the teaser itself is pretty dang cool.
